The Challenging R Sound
Years of therapy and still can't make the R sound? We have helped many children and adolescents finally master R through our specially designed 30-minute intensive therapy sessions while incorporating visual, verbal, and tactile cues to promote correct tongue placement and improve speech sound accuracy.
Literacy-Based Articulation & Language Therapy

Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
Whether a child can speak or not, sometimes self-expression through words is too difficult for different reasons. AAC includes low-tech (e.g. picture symbols, communication boards) to high-tech (e.g. speech output device) means of communication that support or supplement the communicative needs of people with varying levels of verbal skills. We offer education and guidance on how to incorporate AAC as an effective tool to help reduce frustration and increase connection!
Phonological Speech Sound Disorder
Some children experience challenges in understanding the speech sound rules of their language, resulting in the mispronunciation of a few or many sounds while speaking. This is often a common cause for unintelligible speech in kids. We use evidence-based therapy approaches to help children master these sounds through functional activities that generalize beyond the speech room in no time!
