Evaluations

Articulation/Speech Evaluations

It is up to the discretion of the speech therapist whether an evaluation is required prior to receiving therapy sessions. Evaluations are valid for one year. Payment is due at the time of services rendered.

Formal Articulation Assessment

$350

This assessment identifies your child’s speech sound errors and whether they are typical for their age, or related to a speech sound disorder, apraxia, or another condition.

Bilingual Articulation Assessment

$475

This assessment helps determine whether speech sound differences are typical for a child’s age or influenced by their cultural-linguistic background. It’s ideal for children who speak or hear multiple languages.

Language Evaluations

Pragmatic Language Assessment

$225

For supporting children who only struggle with social skills, self-advocacy skills, problem-solving skills, and/or maintaining friendships. No concerns in other areas.

Comprehensive Receptive & Expressive Language Assessment

$550

This assessment helps identify your child’s strengths and challenges in understanding and using language, expressing themselves, and pronouncing words—while considering how these skills show up in everyday life.

Comprehensive BILINGUAL Receptive & Expressive Language Assessment

$700

This assessment helps determine whether your child’s language patterns reflect a true delay or simply typical differences related to their language background.

It is ideal for children who hear or speak more than one language. It helps identify your child’s strengths and challenges in understanding, using, and pronouncing words across all their languages, while considering how culture and language background may influence communication and learning.

Add-On Assessment

$150 + Up

Sometimes a standard evaluation doesn’t give us the full picture of your child’s communication or learning needs.

Our Add-On Assessment option allows for additional testing and data collection to better understand specific challenges. If extra testing is recommended, we’ll provide a price quote beforehand so you know exactly what to expect.
