We are an ESA VENDOR!

I’m an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with over 13 years of experience supporting children and families in both school and clinical settings. I specialize in bilingual language development, speech and language disorders, and culturally responsive care for children from diverse backgrounds.
Throughout my career, I have led therapy teams, collaborated closely with families and educators, and helped children build the communication skills they need to feel confident, connected, and understood. My approach is warm, individualized, and rooted in the belief that every child deserves to be celebrated for who they are — not compared to a checklist or timeline.
The Speech Boutique was created from a simple but deeply important belief: children deserve personalized care that honors their individuality, strengths, and unique way of communicating.
Over the years, I saw how meaningful therapy can be when children feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. I also saw how difficult it can be for families to feel heard in systems that often prioritize paperwork, productivity, and rigid timelines over relationships and individualized care. I knew families deserved something different.
The Speech Boutique was designed to provide a more thoughtful, connected experience — one where therapy is collaborative, intentional, and tailored specifically to your child and family. Here, sessions are not limited by insurance restrictions or predetermined treatment models. Instead, therapy evolves based on your child’s needs, your family’s goals, and the skills that will make the greatest difference in everyday life.
Choosing a private-pay model allows me to provide the time, flexibility, and individualized attention each child deserves. It means we can adjust goals as your child grows, follow their interests and motivations, and create therapy that feels meaningful — not rushed.
My commitment is to provide high-quality, compassionate speech therapy in a space where:
This is more than therapy. It is personalized care designed with your child at the center of every decision.

I earned my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and I am currently completing my Clinical Fellowship Year. I am especially passionate about working with autistic children, early language development, and articulation therapy.
I believe every child learns and communicates in their own unique way, which is why I take a highly individualized approach to therapy. I love tailoring sessions to each child’s interests and strengths to create experiences that are engaging, meaningful, and fun. Whether we are building early communication skills, improving speech clarity, or supporting language development, my goal is always to help children feel confident, successful, and supported.
I also deeply value collaboration with families. I believe the best outcomes happen when families feel informed, empowered, and involved throughout the therapy process. Providing support, education, and practical resources is an important part of how I partner with parents and caregivers to help each child thrive.
Originally from Plainfield, Illinois, I moved to Arizona to trade snowy winters for sunshine — though I’ll always stay loyal to my Chicago sports teams! Outside of work, I enjoy hiking Arizona’s beautiful trails, discovering new coffee shops, and playing guitar.

Hi, I’m Tia! I’m so excited to be part of The Speech Boutique team and to support children and families on their communication journeys.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2022 and have spent the past several years working primarily in pediatric outpatient settings. I am especially passionate about working with children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). One of the most rewarding moments in therapy for me is hearing a child say a target word for the very first time — those milestones are truly unforgettable.
I believe therapy is most effective when it is meaningful and connected to a child’s everyday life. I love collaborating closely with families to create activities and goals that support practical, functional communication skills that children can use confidently at home, school, and in their community.
Originally from Eagle River, Alaska, I moved back home after completing my degree and have always loved the beauty and adventure that come with living there. Adjusting to Arizona has definitely been an adventure too — especially because I am terrified of all “S” creatures… snakes, spiders, and scorpions included!
Outside of work, I enjoy baking and experimenting with new recipes to create fun and delicious treats.
